How can we improve our sites and apps?

No Fetish or Nudity Related Profile Pics

I'd like to suggest making it so fetish related and bare breasts not be allowed in profile pictures (icons/primary photos). I have nothing against the fetishes or the female form my issue is being essentially being forcefully exposed to them against my will. For specifics for my suggestion:

No
Nudity of any sort in profile pics including but not limited to breasts, topless men or women. This makes site use unsafe for work use and runs the risk of making gay or women uncomfortable. Also prevents the abuse of "chubby or gainer" pics and bare butts.

No
Display of fetishes or fetish equipment in profile pictures such as shirtless obese, chubby, gainers, leather outfits, or latex fetish gear. Collars still allowed within reason (ex. no nudity or sexual context).

It would be ok to display these images in your profile as per the core rules, just not as primary/icon/profile pictures. I understand no kink shaming but I also don't feel those of us not into them should be forcefully exposed. Open to suggestion on changes to this.

I'd like to see this added to Grommr for a different reason. I can't open the grommr app in public without a bunch of shirtless guys showing up on my phone. It makes responding to messages I get very awkward in certain circumstances. if everyone was forced to have a "decent" profile pic (like they do on Facebook) it would make using the app a lot easier.

I just thought of something. What if they didn't change the rules. But had an option that allowed you to disable what would be considered NSFW profiles images that included nudity. The uploaded would have to specify if their profile image contained nudity.

"This makes site use unsafe for work"

        >Top newsfeed searches "Yiff, Scat, Cock, Bondage, Sex, Pee, Cum, Porn"

With how (Westerm) society has groomed us socioculturally towards the "upheld" differences between male and female breasts in terms of where it is appropriate to expose them, I am alright with having to have women cover up, say, their nipples. I am not against them wearing a bikini in their profile picture, however, to make the distinction. As for men, I do not see anything wrong with them having a shirtless picture up. Again, this is playing into the western view of m/f chest exposure "rules" of sort. A man without a shirt on or a women in a bikini does not automatically equal NSFW in my eyes. While on an 18+ dating site one could argue that, due to the parameters being "adult only," profile pictures as such are used purposefully to be visually and sexually attractive to attract potential dates we cannot generalize and say this to be true of all Ferzu users. However, in terms of, say, making one's profile picture a photo of theit butt I do agree with classifying that as something one should not do since that is virtually always used in such a context to be sexually stimulating and, thus, NSFW.

With that being said, I am not against men with shirtless profile pics or women who are wearing something similar to a bikini. I am, however, against profile pictures being just a butt and (due to my own personal leanings) / or (extreme) obesity in an obvious flaunting manner. One caviate: the "obvious flashy manner" can also be applied to the shirtless pics, in which case I would have to mark such pics as NSFW; just normal shirtless pics, however, I have no issue with.

In terms of fetish equipment: Yes, I do agree that those items such as collars w/ leashes, leather and latex gear (excluding, for example, learher jackets and vests and the like), and anything phalic object being flaunted in a sexual manner should be considered NSFW.

As said above, displaying NSFW photos in your profile is generally agreed upon to be okay just so long as they are not the profile picture.

        Those are just my thoughts.

BTW this is intended to apply only towards ferzu.

For more clarity on fetishes. The fetishes would include diaper, chub shirtless, leather or latex fetish gear, collars are fine, gore, vore, and the list is open to being added onto.

        supposed to say lesbian women^

Also on nos any fetish pics at all like gore or anything else seen as severe such as vore or torture.
