Add a Hover Mini-Profile for Quick Reference
Making like a small Button for profiles, so when you hover your mouse over their picture and a summary appears youll know:
I have suggested before they need to make the genders: Cis-Male, Cis-Female, Trans-Male, Trans-Female, Gender Fluid, Non-binary Gender, and theres a couple other I am missng, Agender i think, Androgynous (but that is more of a look than a gender right?)
Would be nice to be able to see whether a user is following you or not in more places... newsfeeds, the tooltip that appears when you hover over a profile, etc.
On feabie there are only 3 option for someone's gender/sex. Male, Female, Transgender.
Many people have such open minds to the fluidity of gender which is amazing. When going on someone's profile to see who they are looking for you may see 1, 2, or all 4 of the options available.
My problem as a transgender male is that was I am identify as 'transgender' on the site it does not say weather I am yet male or female. I'm aware that you can put down two markers at a time but just making and option for trans male (FtM) and trans women (MtF) makes profile look better and can stop confusion for someone who doesn't fully understand the identity.
While adding these terms would improve the site in my eyes, I believe that adding more genders in general is a possibility too. Instead of categorizing people as 'other' give them terms to choose from such as Gender queer, Non Binary, or even using an umbrella term like Gender Non-conforming. The other box while having good intentions can leave people feeling left out or not properly given mind to
Gender identity play alot of roles and life an have correct and more functional terminology will help other. Thank you
When you mouse-over a persons icon it shows their photo/location/species etc, but not their preferred gender or orientation.
Clicking on profiles to find out someones gender/orientation shows them that you've visited, and personally I've had a lot of people contact and harass me about my orientation and why I didn't message them.
It would be nice to block and unblock someone without having to visit their profile - just hover over their profile pic, and have that as an option.
I think it would be a lot handier to have a 'Follow' button option appear when you're hovering over a persons name.
Or when you are looking at your followers list there should be an option to just press follow instead of loading up all the profiles just to follow back! It would speed things up a lot and im sure users would appreciate it.
Also maybe if when you're cursor is over someones username and the info pops up, I think their Follower/Following numbers should be displayed!
Thanks for your time.
When looking at "who visited my profile", why not have it show how far away someone is, or at leat if they are from the USA, their state appears with their city.
Because there are lots of places with the same name all over the world, and it would be nice to know if that person is in the same state, the next state overor half a continent away,
Show gender when hovering over people's profile picture. That way we stop calling people by the wrong gender, or at least misgender less frequently.
Placing the option to follow someone on the members nearby page.
We can already see a user's location and age when we hover over their username, but we cannot see their height or weight. Considering how important weight is to the community, it could be a useful addition.
It should show the gender in the tooltip profile summary.
Please add a way to check if someone is male or female without the need to visit their profile.
Installing a 'Follow/Unfollow' button on the user's photo gallery page
Great Site! be good if the profile pics had flags of the country on or next to instad of the hover over... be so much quicker!! you could see it at a glance!!
When I first joined, I went "follow" happy, and found myself following almost 700 members. Now that I am familiar with the site, and that I have made some friends, I wanted to clean up my "following" list, especially after noticing that over half had never even viewed my profile.
In order to clean this up, I had to visit each individual profile and click the unfollow button. I think this feature could be enhanced if there were an "x" or "unfollow" button next to the member in the list. Then you can scroll and click.
