Addition of a Blog Space / Forum Space
Is it possible to add a section for users to add moderated blog posts in order to share tips on either gaining or encouraging (for example Suggestions for gaining on a budget, high calorie recipes, what to look out for when feeding someone etc) that remains outside the timeline so people who either do not follow one specific individual or are just online at different times can see the posts without scrolling through the newsfeed. In addition to this, the added ability for users to leave comments on the posts to say anything between "this worked for me" or "I improved on this by" etc
Feabie definitely needs a forum in order to sustain longer conversation threads than the Facebook style status allows.
If you create a forums section, maybe you'd try with an "artists forum". There're a lot of bbw artists (bbw and bhm artists & related art) here ;)
xxx thank you,
Please a story-like posts with relatively long text with links, basic formatting, photos (like tumblr text posts).
Use causes - feedersim stories, parties and big meals descriptions, other "not fit to a single phrase" experiences and events.
Show announcements of this type of the main feed, but show them in special "stories" feed/rubric as well.
It would be amazing to have a section of stories. I guess it's not important, therefore you will focus on what is important first. But it would be nice, especially in those moments when you don't want to leave the web, but neither are you doing anything like talking to someone or look at other profiles... Or also because you give the chance to people to express their ideas, fantasies, etc. and they can demonstrate their ability and art.
Here's a weird idea: forums that everyone can participate in, premium membership or not. Are forums outdated? Certainly not as outdated as this color scheme. Forums are still one of the best ways to facilitate discussions and get to know people. People here want to talk about feedism obviously but we also want to talk about our other interests with people from the community.
I was curious if there was a way that users could post longer text posts in the form of a blog entry. I know that I personally have a lot to say about my experiences as a fat admirer and a practicing feedist, and I'm certain that other users would likely want to sound off on their own experiences as well.
Add a story section!
A forum or chat room section. Or something that allows users to connect in a way that isn't just searching through criteria and systematically messaging everyone in that criteria.
I love the social media functionality of Grommr but I think we have lost the curated collection aspect of prior sites: Stories, Topical Forums, etc all must be done outside of Grommr via Tumblr or some other platform because Grommr doesn't have these capabilities as BellyBuilders, BeefyFrat and Gainrweb had.
A wiki or guide controlled by the moderators of the site with info on gaining, terms used by the community, myths and facts, recipes for gainer shakes and meals to gain weight and foods that are cheap. Might as well include an article on "are you sure you want to gain" so people can know the risks involved.
Having a restaurant guide that members can post to in their area would be cool. Right now I am vacationing in Orlando, Florida, from Portland, Oregon. It would be so cool to be able to click on Restaurants and then be able to search Orlando and see where our members are eating and fattening up at. This would take very little administrative time on behalf of Grommr I would think, and members may really enjoy being able to post their favorite spots.
I literally just joined this and, I do not see anywhere to blog or write notes! I would like to blog about food or write notes, share recipes and what not though i do not see anywhere to do this! Please correct me if there is a section or anything similar!
Have a place where locals can list where they like to eat
I just had a suggestion for you guys, even if it sounds silly it's something that came to mind and seemed like a good idea to me, Journals!
It's a great way for people to post links to their Youtube channel and videos (if unlisted) without having to clog up their profile page. It's also a much easier way for people to document their lives and record measurements, gains, and progress over time. I know we have quite a few bloggers out there already, but it seems like an easily accessible and fun idea for members!
Having the option to make Journal entries "private" by only making them visible to those who mutually following one another (they follow you and you follow them) is also a good way to keep slightly more personal things in a comfortable spot.
I apologize in advance for being so text heavy, but it seemed like a good idea that I'd definitely utilize and I'm sure many others would!
There is far too much useless "off topic" discussion on home page.
Home page should be strictly controlled "on topic" gainer/fat related topics only.......mostly very young guys using Grommr as a facebook/twitter vehicle......thanks for listening....Gaz
gay chub art
It would be really helpful to have travel forums when planning a trip and since this is a community with members from all over the world, I think we could offer each other some valuable help. It could be similar to the forums on tripadvisor but aimed at the gay, or even gainer, community, and it feels like it would be much easier to come into personal contact/start a discussion with people here than on, e.g. tripadvisor since this community has much fewer members. Perhaps members who would like to help others out with travel advice to their region could become country ambassadors or something.
Having forums where people can post stories, food diaries, & make posting on the forum available to prem members only but reading posts available to all
from BigandHairy: I like to write stories and things like that, I would love to have a way to share them on this site with out offsite linking.
from Gridlock: Lots of other sites have a basic forum setup, but that's pretty late 90s. Why not something atypical but still interactive? Something along the lines of a media section comprising articles written by the members, tips, tricks, stories, and even more general if there's an audience for it. pics, thoughts, layouts, things like that but wholly commentable by the site members so you'd get the benefit of content AND the workings of a conversation forum combined. Webzine of sorts. Just a thought.
