Give users control over who follows them
Right now, the only way to stop someone from following you is to block them which is severe. One may not want to be followed yet not want to block the person. A member may not want to be followed by some kind of members (age range, etc.) There should be some control given to the user that does not require a complete block. 2 options are:
1) Require approval. The followee gets a note that "X wants to follow you" and must either approve or deny the request. As with xtube follows, no confirmation is sent to the person requesting the follow. They are simply following if approved or not following if denied.
2) Currently, when you click on "My Followers" a list is returned titled "Members following username (#)". From there enable the user to click on the "this member is following you" star to have that person UNfollow you. Or just add a new field "click to remove this member from following you".
I second the request regarding the ability to remove followers — please introduce that on Grommr, or allow unlimited blocking. There are some users who, for various reasons, I don’t want to have easy access to my content, and removing them as followers (or their noms from photos) seems like a better solution than having to block them.
Id also like the ability. Maybe something like the current private photos request. A notification that someone is "Requesting" to follow you, where you can accept or deny.
Have the ability in our profile to turn off the option to be followed and also to remove followers.
Allow an option to cause someone to unfollow you
a way to remove someone from following you w/out putting them on block, wait 72 hours and go back to their page to unblock them. so basically a way to take someone off block w/out having to go to their page to do so.. u know, to avoid them messaging you thinking you were there cos you were interested. i just want to read your livefeed ramblings w/out you following me-type thing.
The ability to prevent being followed by users outside of a certain, user set threshold. I've got a TON of barely legal followers, and to be honest it really creeps me out.

How come there is no ability to remove someone from the list of people following you?
As the title suggests really!
